Andrew Otte

Andrew Otte is a Data Systems Analyst at the Educational Policy Initiative at Carolina (EPIC) in the Department of Public Policy. He has a Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences with a focus on Statistics from Clemson University. As the Data Systems Analyst he is responsible for processing incoming data, cleaning and preparing data for quantitative analysis, managing data permissions, and managing the secure transfer of data between data providers and internal/external researchers. Andrew also regularly participates in project planning with research team members. Other responsibilities include documenting data processes and the secure upkeep of EPIC’s internal database.
